The superpower of Affirmations and Afformations
Hello, my answer-seekers and welcome to this blogpost.
Here’s an insight on how I changed my life within 6 months, but it isn’t about the time, it’s about the process you go through while getting there (the complete 21 day-guide on how you can transform your life will be published very soon too).
As you can read in the title of this entry, I used the power of Affirmations, Afformations and EFT-tapping to reprgramm my subconcious mind and attract exactly the reality I wanted to live in. You’re probably asking right now ‘how can I do that too?’ Well - let’s break it down:
Affirmations
Affirmations are a powerful tool to create the mindset you want to maintain while shifting into your preferred reality. While this sounds pretty much ‘woo-woo’ right now, it’s practically like this: You feel like your current circumstances (that’s what I refer to as ‘reality’) don’t match your wishes. You feel like you need change in your life, mayhaps something drastic, to be happy (this process is what I call shifting because you can literally shift your life from being a certain way to being different solely by your own powers).
So, while you might feel like you’re not good enough to receive your dream job, life, partner, money, freedom, whatever it is you desire - Affirmations might be a solution for you.
Here is how they work:
Your entire life runs based on your subconcious beliefs. These believes are formed your entire life - may it be by your parents, family, friends, school, job, whatever else. Anything that can influence you in some way has an impact on how you view and perceive you and your life everyday. Every single decision you make, every step you take, every opportunity you see and take or deny - all of this is based on your subconcious beliefs.
‘Scientific studies estimate that about 95% of our daily thoughts are subconcious.’
Those subconcious thoughts are like a programm your entire being (mind, body and soul) is running on. The better the programm, the more life quality you’ll experience in your life. So, simply put: Once you unwire your subconcious beliefs that you keep holding onto, you can reprogamm them using affirmations (and afformations). You can easily find out what your subconcious holds by taking a piece of paper and asking yourself truly, what you believe about certain areas of your life (I recommend lots of paper from experience - you might not need it in the beginning but once you get into it, you’ll realize that your subconcious holds onto things way more tightly than you do conciously).
Those areas might be: Yourself - how to you perceive yourself, truly? Write everything down that comes to mind. Everything. Let it flow and bring it onto the paper. Because only once you see it, you can understand conciously what’s holding you back from living the life you always dreamt of and start letting go of those ‘limiting beliefs’. Other areas you might want to discover are: Work/School, Family, Friends, Love, Hobbies, Money, Freedom …
Ask yourself what other people told you about those areas, too. Because as I said earlier, your subconcious is like a sponge for information. In the first place, it doesn’t filter anything, it just soakes it all in. This is 1. why it is very important to be specific about whom and what you’re surrounding yourself with in your daily life and 2. why Affirmations are this powerful - you don’t have to believe what you’re telling yourself, because your subconcious mind doesn’t care. Whatever you tell it, is real for your subconcious.
As an example: If you keep telling yourself ‘I am stupid’, you will believe that you are stupid. If you become concious of this repetetive negative Affirmation that you kept telling yourself and you conciously switch it to ‘I am very smart, I am intelligent, everything I do is aligned with my highest self and my purpose’, you will transform your inner belief about yourself and start acting differently to match your inner world on the outside (this is transformation from the inside out because your brain likes to think it is always right, so it’s continually searching for reasons to be right in your surroundings. This is what we’re using to our advantage.
The easiest and most sustainable way to reprogramm your subconcious mind is affirming what you want into your life. I’ll give you some examples on affirmations you can use daily (the time and place you’re doing this doesn’t matter, simply find something that works for you).
I am connected with my highest self at all times.
I am divinely guided and protected.
I love myself unconditionally and so does everyone else - the love I put out, the love I get back.
I am surrounded by the most loving people.
I am the most fulfilled and successful in my job I’ve ever been.
I feel so happy and grateful for the life I get to live.
Afformations
Other than Affirmations, Afformations are positively formulated questions that act as a powerful tool to gain access to your inner guidance and wisdom. Once you know what type of life you want to live, you can implement those questions into your daily life, at best right before you go to bed to give your subconcious mind the chance to give you the information you’re asking for.
Here are examples for matching Afformations you might want to use:
How did I get this happy?
How did I get this successful?
How did I receive all these blessings in my life?
How did I get this beautiful?
Why does everyone want to spoil me and treat me well?
The magic of Affirmation is simple as this: By asking yourself these specific questions, you’re automatically encouraging your mind to think of a solution for ‘how you got what you’re asking for’. Because for your subconcious mind, which is doing all the work of manifestation, it already happened the moment you asked yourself the Afformation, so it’ll find a way to show you that you’re right in the 3-dimensional world (your reallife).
Let me know which Affirmations and Afformations you love to use.
Have a wonderful time.
